Competition: 2 great GFB events
When it comes to competition, spring is usually really busy in northern Germany. This year, we were really lucky with the wind and could run two GFB events. The first one took place during the SURF-festival on Fehmarn - a great event with sunshine and easterly winds that got stronger every evening. I was really happy with my sailing there. I even managed to land a backloop in one of my heats - such a great feeling! There were some tough heats with the wind going down a bit when I was against Valentin Böckler. That was probably my toughest heat, since I was on 4.4 when I should have been on 4.8.
