Winter Winds

With christmas approaching and the many big wave photos from Hawaii popping up, it is time to realise that winter is here to stay. For windsurfers in most parts of Europe this means getting out your 5/3s, booties, gloves and hoodies. Yet, for most uf us this also means more wind, bigger waves and crazy sessions with just you and a couple of friends around.
I am lucky to spend the winter in Southern France, one of the more temperate European regions. Despite the lack of consistent swell I usually get in three to five windsurf sessions a week, mainly freestyle. So here's one of them when I sailed my new 4.5 RRD SuperStyle and the 90l TwinTip:
